One of the greatest gifts I’ve received this year is time. My life has changed dramatically in the past six months, and I’m incredibly grateful to be able to experience life in quality versus quantity. My recent trip to the Winter Equestrian Festival circuit in Florida really allowed me to focus on what I love: photography. With my concentration solely on the World Championship Hunter Rider classes and feature articles for In Stride magazine, I spent time roaming around the show grounds capturing moments rather than each and every competitor in action. After Scott Stewart’s Empire earned the green conformation hunter championship, I followed him out of the ring as his owner and trainer received congratulations. While Empire stood within a cluster of well-wishers, he raised his head and gazed off into the distance, calmly surveying his domain. Surrounded by commotion, he showed a true championship demeanor.
Again, amazing photos that capture so much expression and eloquence. Thank you for sharing 🙂
