We’re in the homestretch. Cam is 10 days away from testing for his black belt in Tae Kwon Do. For the next week, we’ll be intensely focused on attending classes and preparing for the exam. Today, Cam led the juniors class and worked with Master Horkan to show the younger children specific kicks and techniques.
We’ve spent four years working toward this goal. Yes, there have been days when he’d rather be anyplace else, he’s struggled to balance extracurricular activities and school work, but, in the end, he’s come to realize that you always finish what you start. Cam’s worked hard to achieve excellence in Tae Kwon Do, and no matter the color of his belt, I’m proud that he’s grown into such an honorable young man.
