The Stingrays played their third game of the season tonight, facing a tough team from Reston. Unfortunately, their opponents didn’t have a full roster of players, so the Stingrays had the advantage of substitutions and it showed in the final score (9-3). Nevertheless, the team in blue proved their mettle, especially early on before fatigue set in.
Cameron enjoyed one of his best games to date, scoring the first and last goals for the Stingrays, including one a few moments after he intercepted this pass. After beginning the season favoring the goalie position, he’s hit his stride and is back on the front line, which is much more fun for me as I was growing tired of taking photos of him staring into space.
