Cameron held the opponents at bay during the second half of today’s game, preventing any balls from crossing the goal line. It was a battle between two tough teams, and although the Stingrays suffered their first loss of the season in a 3-2 finish, they played gallantly. Coach Moy sent an email summing up his thoughts:

Both games were very hard, very exciting and very challenging.

I have always stated that the final result is NOT as important as giving 110% on the field. And you guys worked very hard and gave everything in the hour of play.

Oscar ended up with a Fat Lip and bloody nose but will be OK again on Tuesday.
