I couldn’t help but see a gorgeous photograph just about everywhere I turned while on assignment at Stoneleigh Farm in Middleburg, Virginia. The farm, which dates back to pre-Civil War, is breathtaking, with incredible views, stables and gardens. Under the TLC of owner Mary B., it’s only become more enchanting over the past decade, as her vision and artistic touch has transformed the classic Virginia estate into a plethora of color and texture, complete with traditional English gardens. It’s an oasis of beauty for humans and animals alike, and I noted that the ponies, horses, dogs and cats fit right in, some even taking a turn in leading us on the tour. Not a bad place to call home.
