Stone and Flowers

It seemed like a beautiful evening for a nature walk, so Cameron and I took Peppermint down the trail behind our house. On our way, we picked up a package for our neighbor that was dropped off at the top of our driveway. As we meandered down the trail, we found a few butterflies, but the other insects—the biting ones!—were out in full force. As we approached our neighbor’s house to drop off the package, I noticed she’d installed flower boxes to her windows, which certainly add to the charm of her cute house. As we resumed our walk, we turned back home instead of down the trail. Sometimes an evening spent inside is lovely, too.
