Today’s journey took us to Indianapolis for the 12th annual Bragging Rights Golf Tournament. This friendly family tournament was originally started as a way to bring the Scheib children together each year to play and spend time with their parents. It’s evolved to become a serious tournament, complete with an impressive trophy, elaborate ribbons and, of course, lots of competitive fervor, from the course to the post-event parties. It’s a serious weekend of golf, but despite the nerves and bogeys, it’s become a favorite summer event. And, even if we can’t hit the ball where we want, at least we have some beautiful scenery on our way to the next hole.
