Each morning, as I prepare Cameron’s lunch and collect all of our belongings for another active day, I take a moment to survey the backyard through the kitchen window. I spend a few minutes identifying various birds and taking in the view of the valley. On many September mornings we have fog, some are crisp and clear and others are in between. Today I noticed the first hints of fall, as a few of our trees and shrubs are beginning to fade from rich green to light green and gold. The dappled sun highlighted one area of the yard, making for a beautiful contrast between the new red leaves and the dark green forest. Although I will miss the summer, my favorite season, fall colors make me happy, too.
This is a great start to fall! Thanks for sharing. Its fall colors that are my favorite.
Thanks, Patti. I hope to follow your lead! Maybe if I just add more layers I’ll feel better about the cooler weather! Fall colors at 80 degrees would be my ideal season.
Excellent! Great detail!
