Even though she’s just a yearling, Pearl knows how to work the camera. This gorgeous rose gray Arabian filly is bred to be a show horse, and talent and desire to show off is a part of her gene package. Our photo shoot this afternoon included the requisite conformation and portrait shots, as well as a few fun moments where Pearl hiked up her tail and pranced around showing off her movement and athleticism. But one of my favorite photos from today was this simple head shot, where instead of focusing on her handler, she’s tilted her head slightly and is looking at the camera, as if to say, “OK, just checking to make sure you’re still there and capturing all of my beauty!”
Love it, Tricia! Your photos of animals make me want to reach out and touch!
Just got back from NC. Later today I will check out your photos I missed over the weekend!
Thanks Karen! I hope you had a nice trip to North Carolina. I enjoyed your farmer’s market photos very much!
