Monday evenings mean soccer practice for Cameron and a nice walk for me. Peppermint and I usually take to the fields around Kenneth Culbert Elementary School in Purcellville, catching some pretty scenery as we stretch our legs. Tonight we ranged farther afield and stumbled upon the track, which is placed above the school on a high hill. With billowy clouds on the horizon and colorful trees in the background, it provided a great place for us to spend time burning some calories, although Peppermint would have preferred to simply sit and watch the sun set.
