I’m not sure if it’s the added maturity or playing on The Hill School varsity soccer team, but whatever has happened this fall has jump-started Cameron’s game. He’s always had an affinity for soccer and has shown brilliance from season to season, but this year he truly understands the game and his role as a team player. Tonight’s match, while a blow-out at 8-1, allowed the Loudoun Lads to really support one another. After Robbie, Cameron and Alex, the top offensive players, each scored in the first half, they worked hard in the second half to pass the ball to their teammates so they could score, too.
Although Cameron didn’t get the coveted hat trick that he desired, his two goals and several assists helped the Lads to a decisive victory and provided another boost of confidence to his burgeoning soccer career.
