The Loudoun Lads took to the field today for their final regular season game. And, as a fitting conclusion, they played against many of their friends and a team led by one of their former coaches. I enjoyed catching up with some of the parents, and I noticed that Cam was doing the same on the field. In fact, as Robbie was throwing in the ball at one point he had to yell to Cameron to turn around and stop talking!

As much as I would have enjoyed seeing the game finish in a tie, the Lads proved to be the stronger team on this day. Their 4-2 win enabled them to end the season with a winning record. Now, it’s on to the tournament!
