I rarely choose a window seat when I fly, but I have to admit that I enjoyed the view today on my flight from Washington to Chicago. After resigning myself to inside seat I was forced to take, I pulled out my trusty iPhone to keep my mind off the claustrophobic feeling of being penned in by my fellow travelers. It was a lovely day to fly, though, with smooth air and white puffy clouds decorating the sky. In my younger years I eagerly picked the window seat so I could spend the trip relaxing and gazing out into space or looking down at the many landforms passing by. I’ll admit, I enjoyed returning to the old days in my mind, and perhaps I’ll pick the A seat more often in the future.
