I’ve really enjoyed having my horse in my “backyard” the past week, and it’s not just because I’m able to ride and bond with him. It’s also allowed me to once again take the scenic roads home.
I sold my last horse in 2008, so it’s been more than three years since I’ve regularly driven down these very secluded roads. I paused on the way home today to watch two bald eagles feeding on a dead animal near a creek bed. Without a DSLR, my photos weren’t up to standard, but I was inspired to take a brief walk where I spied this restored barn.
I hope to spend more time exploring the photo ops on my new route, but the only disadvantage is that my normally blue truck is now perpetually brown with dirt.
I think a brown dirty truck is a small price to pay for the views you will get to take in! Great photo Tricia!
What a beautiful place and a BEAUTIFUL photo!
