On Target
It’s been great fun photographing Cam’s soccer games this season. He didn’t play last year, and I hadn’t realized how much I’d missed shooting the games until I started again. Although the Clarke County Crew lost to an incredibly talented ODFC NOVA Legends 99 Elite team 8-1, they still tried hard, especially at the end of the game when they rallied for their lone score.
It was heartwarming to see how thrilled they were to finally get a ball in the net and by the Legends’ talented goalie. As Cam said, “We were just so happy we didn’t get skunked!”

Awesome shots!!! Is this and the Arboretum shot taken with the 800? Amazing resolution!
Thank you, David! I’m still using the D3s for sports since I’m much more comfortable with it. The arboretum shots are with the D800. I do want to try the new camera with some action shots, so maybe I’ll take it to practice one day next week and see what I get.
