The first Weekly Photo Challenge of the new year is: Resolved. One of my New Year’s resolutions was/is to get outside more often and another is to resume my daily photo blog. So, on my first outing this year I came across this snowy picnic table that fit both resolutions—it’s not a place I’d like to sit in its current state and reminded me of my resolutions to, in fact, sit less often this year and take more photographs.

I imagine this will be a lovely place to take a break on a warm spring day during a hike, and I look forward to revisiting this peaceful setting in a few months.
