It’s not often that have the opportunity to spend time in the city, so it’s always fun to get out and explore with the camera. While attending a wedding in Indianapolis last fall, we stayed downtown in one of the high-rise hotels.
On this trip I traveled light and only brought my Sony RX100 point-and-shoot, but I found it was the ideal camera for quick shots while I was walking around sightseeing and shopping with the family. Because of its tiny size, I only looked like a tourist when I took it out of my pocket, and I liked being able to shoot in RAW with a 24 megapixel sensor. The best feature, though, was that it freed my hands for carrying all of those pre-Christmas shopping bags!
