Wolf Spider
We had a visitor today, and it wasn’t a mouse. We found this pretty wolf spider working its way up the basement stairs. After an impromptu photo shoot, we relocated it to a safer place. Unlike yesterday’s mouse, the spider followed directions and went where we placed it, and we were all happy about that.

Cool, I didn’t know that fact about spiders. I’m glad to know they bring good luck because they are a little scary when they decide to come into the house!

Totally with you on that. I don’t mind spiders on my terms, but the minute they’re not where they belong, it gets creepy!
