Showffeur
This week’s A-Z challenge is the letter H, which for me is a no-brainer. The most difficult aspect is choosing which horse to feature because I have so many in my files.
Arabians have always held a special place in my heart, and Showffeur is one of my favorite stallions to photograph. He has an incredible presence and beauty, and when he sees a camera I believe he shows off even more.
Showffeur stands at Jonesborough Farm in Virginia, and I hope to pay him a visit in the near future because, after looking through my files, I see that I’m very much in need of an Arabian fix.
This image was edited slightly in Lightroom and Color Efex Pro 4 using the Detail Extractor and Bleach Bypass filters.

So much fun! I liked this photo unedited, but it’s so much better with a little help 🙂 it’s interesting to work with old photos that I kept but that maybe had a flaw or two. This software is useful in that regard.
