Debut Times Two

It’s been a whirlwind week with an In Stride magazine deadline as well as golf tryouts for Cameron. After facing three days of scrutiny on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, playing and practice, Cam made the Clarke County High School varsity golf team. Cameron was the star of the day. Playing in his first BRGT, he quickly graduated from the women’s competition by soundly beating all of us with a score of 107. He declined to wear pink today since he was playing with the guys, although it wouldn’t have made a difference. He and Uncle Kevin ended up finishing third overall in the tournament, with Cameron providing the best “women’s” score to his partner’s solid performance in the 18-hole final. Next year […]

The 12th annual Bragging Rights Golf Tournament got underway today in Indianapolis, Indiana. This was the first year that Cameron played as an official competitor in the family golf outing. Today’s journey took us to Indianapolis for the 12th annual Bragging Rights Golf Tournament. This friendly family tournament was originally started as a way to bring the Scheib children together each year to play and spend time with their parents.
