I’m not sure how my UPS driver is feeling these days. I discovered this awesome bird seed on Amazon called Wagner’s Greatest Variety, and since I started ordering it, the number of birds in my yard has steadily grown in number and species. Peppermint’s Snow Day

We only received about four inches of snow during this last storm, but it was plenty to keep Peppermint entertained today. She enjoyed a few outings around the property, running up and down the driveway and then checking out all of the animal tracks that criss-crossed through the snow. Ice Time

Another Monday and another snow day here in Virginia. I spent the day indoors watching the snow and ice accumulate as I worked on the computer. While I had intended to get outside to photograph the new snow on the mountain, the spitting ice and freezing rain prevented me from venturing out too far. Icy Day

An icy day here in Virginia. Thankfully, we didn’t lose power overnight as often happens when freezing rain and trees mix.
