Showffeur DDA
Showffeur and Larry Jones were preparing to enter the arena at the Virginia Horse Center for their performance when something caught their attention. For a moment they both gazed to their right, totally in tune with one another. With the late afternoon sun slanting through the open doorway, they were caught in golden hues.
Even though their time in the ring provided moments of brilliance and energetic action, this is my favorite photo from the day. Although there’s a slack in the lead, their connection is obvious, strong and trusting.
