Round Hill View

What a difference a day makes—and a lower altitude. The snow of yesterday never occurred below the mountain here in Round  Hill, and the grass, daffodils and tulips are just moments away from establishing their presence. Our friends Christy and Eric always keep their yard immaculate, no matter the season. The view from their front yard, with the stately pine trees holding court, is so perfectly Piedmont, with the winding gravel road and the acres of hay fields in the distance. When it’s warmer, they  hang a hammock in between these two trees, which makes for a wonderful spot to relax and read a book. It won’t be long!
