It’s been a great week so far at the Upperville Colt & Horse Show in Virginia. It’s the country’s oldest horse show and one of the most prestigious, and I’m fortunate that this beautiful show grounds is right down the road from my home in Paris.
I’m also fortunate to have a birthday that coincides with the show, so I always spend “my” day there either competing or spectating. This year, I enjoyed a gorgeous June day hanging out with friends from near and far, cheering them on and taking lots of photos. My young horse wasn’t quite ready for this caliber of a show, but I hope to have him there next year so we can join in the fun!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY and welcome back! I have missed your postings…..”postings!” 🙂
Thank you, Lucinda! I will try and resume posting more frequently and visiting my favorite blogs. I found through the past few months that I’ve really missed my online friends.
Happy belated birthday, Tricia! Sounds like you had a great day!
Thank you! Yes, it was a great way to spend my birthday!

Thank you! I love the wide-angle lenses!
I like Upperville but now I’m wondering what Downerville looks like……………..
