Spring is finally here in Virginia. The trees are flowering, the grass is growing greener and the foals are appearing in the fields.
I’m happy to be back home from my trip to Texas and catching up on life and my blog. Some new photography goals are on the near horizon as well as a few more trips for work and play.
While we were out yesterday I couldn’t help but stop for a flower break. The trees were stunning, set against a beautiful blue sky, with a soft wind causing the petals to shimmer in the late afternoon light. The iPhone in my pocket came in handy, as did Lightroom mobile, to capture a moment of spring.
Absolutely gorgeous!
Thank you so much, Patti!
Oh my God! This makes me want to jump in my car and drive down from NH and sit under these trees. So beautiful and so happy to see them.
Ha ha! I totally understand! I think this spring is especially precious because of the horrendous winter we endured. And we didn’t have near the snow you all did!
Beautiful! We have a couple of pink blossom trees round here but they are no way near as amazing as these.
I had wanted to make a trip to D.C. for the cherry blossoms, but it didn’t quite work out. These trees were a nice substitute!
Very pretty.
Though spring has sprung here, there are rumors of snow in our mid-week weather forecast.
I just heard the forecast this morning…up to 18″ of snow!!?? So sorry, but you do live in a beautiful part of the country! Maybe that makes up for it a little?
