Today time was not on my side for photography. In between meetings and deadlines I managed a quick walk with Peppermint on The Hill School trail before picking up Cameron for Tae Kwon Do. After the storms of yesterday passed us by, we were left with a beautiful day, little humidity and a light breeze under mostly sunny skies. I experimented a bit more with Instagram, capturing this image of The Hill School’s big tree. Yesterday I saw a lightning bolt came frighteningly close to hitting this gorgeous tree, so I was happy to see it standing tall and proud today.
Beautiful tree. Glad to hear it was spared. I have an affinity for trees and find them to be endless inspiration for images of all kinds. This shot is lovely.
Yes, trees are an inspiration for me, too. This one in particular. Thank you!
I too love trees, especially such lone sentries as this one seems to be. I can imagine having a picnic under its shade.
This is a well-loved tree at my son’s school. I enjoy gazing at it each morning when I drop him off. A picnic would be nice one day, too!
