I didn’t have a lot of time to walk Peppermint. In fact, I was going to skip our outing today since looming deadlines were on my mind. But when she jumped out of the Tahoe and took off toward our favorite field while I was loading equipment, I relented. She was so happy to be out and galloped off, chasing wind-blown leaves and “hunting” for creatures in the grass.
It was just 10 minutes, but it meant the world to her. And sometimes I forget how important the little things are in life, when a short walk turns into an impromptu photo shoot and ends with a very contented dog.
i just love this.. ; )
Thank you, Dianne! I enjoyed visiting your blog. Your photos are exquisite! I look forward to spending more time “in” Nova Scotia.
Superb!!!
Thank you, Cee! It’s nice to have a doglet who seems to pose for the camera!
This is great!!! It shows so much personality…especially with the little terriers!!! She is saying “I’m happy!”
She does have quite a personality! I think perhaps I’ve spoiled her a bit? LOL!
Peppermint looks like she enjoyed every minute of her brief run! My dogs love joining me in the car afterhours to go and check any inpatients I have in hospital- our pooches appreciate even the tiniest of gestures 🙂
Yes, Peppermint goes just about everywhere with me during the cooler months. She has her own dog bed in the back and a spot where she can see out the window. One of my son’s teachers gives her a dog treat each morning at drop off, so she’s the first one in the truck each morning to go to school!
